Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
